IDRIS ELBA CONFIRMED FOR YASALAM OFFICIAL AFTER-PARTY AT GARDEN ON YAS

The open-air trackside venue at Yas Marina Circuit will host the award-winning actor, producer and DJ for a one-night-only performance during the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. Abu Dhabi, UAE, October 16, 2025 – Yasalam presented by e&, the official entertainment programme of the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, adds another global name to its weekend line-up with Idris Elba confirmed to perform at Garden on Yas on Friday, 5 December 2025. Idris Elba, acclaimed actor, producer and DJ, brings his house-music project Sound International to Yas Marina Circuit for one night only. Inspired by London’s sound-system roots, Elba blends soulful house rhythms with global influences to create immersive, high-energy sets. The Friday After-Party headlined by Elba is exclusive to Garden on Yas ticket holders. Elba’s announcement follows confirmations of legendary Berlin-based collective Keinemusik, also performing on Friday, 5 December, and multi-award-winning Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, who will take to the stage on Saturday, 6 December. Both will appear as part of the Yasalam Official After-Parties, as the festival expands across Yas Island for the Grand Prix weekend. Perfectly positioned beside W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, Garden on Yas overlooks the marina and South Circuit, with panoramic views of Turns 8, 11 and 12. Conceived as an open-air social hub, it captures the spirit of race weekend with an all-day blend of music, dining and celebration, making it one of the most sought-after experiences of the weekend. The Garden on Yas experience includes access to Friday’s practice sessions, day-long entertainment and general admission to the Emirates NBD After-Race Concert at Etihad Park featuring Post Malone with Elyanna. Guests also enjoy complimentary Thursday access to the Fanzones and the After-Race Concert with Benson Boone. Tickets for the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 are limited, with Garden on Yas among the final remaining general-access experiences. |
