Al Ain Zoo Launches Its Summer Camp Under The Theme “Legacy Of The Desert”

This summer, Al Ain Zoo is inviting young explorers to step into the wild with its exciting new summer camp under the theme “Legacy of the Desert.” Running from July 6 to 24, the camp takes place Monday to Thursday from 8am to 12pm, and Friday from 8am to 11am, welcoming 80 young adventurers each week.

Inspired by the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the camp takes children on a journey through desert wildlife, Emirati culture, and sustainability, connecting the past, present, and future in a way that’s both meaningful and fun.

From up-close animal encounters to creative arts and crafts, team challenges, and exciting science experiments, every day is packed with activities that encourage kids to learn by doing. Young participants will also have the chance to explore agricultural experiences and discover simple, practical ways to care for the environment.

More than just a camp, it’s a chance for children to build confidence, make new friends, and develop teamwork skills, all while exploring the wonders of the natural world. Rooted in the spirit of the UAE’s Year of the Family, the experience also encourages shared values and a deeper connection to nature.
