As the year draws to a close, The Abu Dhabi EDITION prepares for the festive season. From November into the new year, moments unfold with a curated stay for a tranquil retreat, dining from Thanksgiving through Christmas to New Year’s Eve across its award-winning venues, and a few restorative rituals along the way to welcome 2027.
The Festive Overnighter
Guests can plan a holiday escape with The Festive Overnighter, available from 21 December to 2 January. Experience unhurried mornings, quietly exceptional dining and evenings worth lingering over, all set against views over Al Bateen Marina.
Starting from AED 1,500 per night, the offer includes breakfast for two at Market at EDITION, along with AED 350 in hotel credit for distinctive dining experiences or restorative moments at EDITION Spa.

Oak Room
The MICHELIN-listed Oak Room’s calendar begins early, with Thanksgiving, and carries through Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
Thanksgiving with Wine Pairing
The evening opens with Roasted Butternut and Beef Carpaccio before the centrepiece arrives: Roasted Turkey and Turkey Leg Roulade with Cranberry Pecan Stuffing, joined by Pickled Red Cabbage, Roasted Root Vegetables, Green Beans, Brussels Sprouts and Chestnuts, Sweet Potato Gratin, Duck Fat-Roasted Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Bread Sauce and Turkey Gravy. Steamed Chocolate Pudding and Pumpkin Pie, served for sharing, close the evening.

Christmas Eve Dinner
An intimate dinner begins with House-Made Ricotta and Hamachi Crudo to share, followed by a choice of Westholme Striploin, Lamb Saddle or Roasted Turkey Breast, with Grilled Beetroot as a vegetarian option. Mont Blanc Tartlets, Cherry and Chocolate Trifle and Christmas Pudding bring the evening to a close.

Christmas Roast
Christmas Day is spent around the table with a generous roast. Endive Salad, Caramelized Figs and Scallop Crudo set the tone, followed by Westholme Striploin, Lamb Saddle or traditional Roasted Turkey Breast, served with all the trimmings. The turkey arrives as tradition intends, with Turkey Gravy, Cranberry Sauce and Bread Sauce, Duck Fat-Roasted Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts and roasted root vegetables. Each course is enjoyed at an easy pace, with Mont Blanc Tartlets, Cherry and Chocolate Trifle and Christmas Pudding, all for sharing, finishing the afternoon. Alba Terrace
Alba Terrace marks the season with a Christmas Brunch and New Year’s Eve Dinner, to be enjoyed indoors or out on the lush outdoor terrace, with intimate seating beneath pavilions or beside the reflection pool, lantern light and Al Bateen Marina spread out in front, for al fresco dining.
Christmas Brunch
Christmas begins with a selection made for sharing: the Signature Charcuterie Board, Burrata Cheese Trolley and Kingfish Crudo, with Fig and Ricotta Pizza arriving fresh from the wood-fired oven. Guests then choose a main course of Herb-Crusted Cod, Lasagna al Forno, Braised Lamb Roulade or handmade Pan-Fried Potato Gnocchi, served at their own pace. Zuppa Inglese or Blood Orange Upside-Down Cake closes the afternoon on a sweet note.

New Year’s Eve Dinner
A coastal Mediterranean farewell to the year. Vitello Tonnato and Burrata and Grilled Zucchini Salad are shared to start, followed by a choice of Pan-Seared Sea Bass, Roasted Beef Tenderloin or Mushroom Pappardelle. St. Honoré brings the evening to a sweet close. A saxophonist and DJ keep the evening company, the music building gently towards midnight.

Library Bar: Festive Cocktails
Throughout December, Library Bar, the only bar in Abu Dhabi to be included in The World’s 500 Best Bars list, brings forth the comfort of the season with Festive Cocktails. The menu features four cocktails to be enjoyed on a festive evening, among them the Whisky Alexander, which pairs bourbon with cacao liqueur, house-made orange marmalade and cream, and the Reindeer Mule, which brightens vodka with cranberry, raspberry and ginger beer. Santa’s Punch brings together spiced rum, Earl Grey tea, cinnamon and star anise, while the Pumpkin Old Fashioned combines cognac with pumpkin and cardamom, finished with a trace of absinthe and cacao bitters.
Each is priced at AED 65.
Festive Beauty: EDITION Spa and Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa
The season also invites a moment of quiet for oneself.
At EDITION Spa, Festive Radiance is a two-hour ritual for luminous skin, beginning with a 30-minute Golden Glow Scrub, followed by a 60-minute Signature EDITION House Massage and a 30-minute Express Facial, priced at AED 1,000.
Guests can also get ready at Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa, starting with Festive Lustre, a polished blow-dry paired with a deep conditioning treatment that leaves hair smooth, full of movement and restored in shine for holiday evenings.
