Matilda The Musical is taking over Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena from June 20 to 23, 2024, for a limited season of 6 shows only.
Performed to sold-out audiences in 91 cities across the world, watched by 11 million people, and recognised with more than 101 international awards, Matilda the Musical promises to be a glorious and unforgettable theatre experience for both families and individual adults.
Due to the strictly limited season, tickets are selling out fast with reports of sold-out categories across all six performances. Several schools and universities across the UAE are planning end-of-year trips for their students to see Matilda the Musical, offering a perfect opportunity to inspire and immerse the youth in the performing arts.
Inspired by the timeless tale by British author Roald Dahl, Matilda The Musical tells the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a sharp mind and vivid imagination, dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results.
Tickets are on sale via etihadarena.ae and platinumlist.net, starting from AED 150 per person.
Weekday performances start at 7.30pm (doors at 6.30pm), while the weekend performances run from 1pm (doors at 12pm), and 6pm (doors at 5pm).
